  1. Day 01 Arrive To Paro

  2. Day 02 Hike to Taktshang monastery

  3. Day 03 Paro To Jele Dzong Trek

    Today’s trail is a long but fairly gentle ascent. A clear day offers a bird’s eye view of Paro valley. Camp is at 3536 m.

  4. Day 04 Jele Dzong To Tsalu Ney Trek

    Descend through  silver fir, pine, rhododendron and hemlock forest to camp nearby a small river at about 3000 metres. Here we can visit Tsalu Ney, a small 14th century temple, where the Guru Rinpoche is said to have meditated.

  5. Day 05 Tsaluna To Phajoding Trek

    Climb to Pumo La at about 3400 metres. About two hours after the pass we will reach Phajoding at 3750 metres where we will camp. Numerous meditation centres and temples are scattered across the hillside and the large buildings of Phajoding monastery are just below the campsite.  (5 to 6 hours)

     

  6. Day 06 Phajoding To Thimphu Trek

    The final day’s trail to Thimphu descends steeply through blue pine forests (2 to 3 hours)

  7. Day 07 Sightseeing In Thimphu

    In Thimpu, you can visit the National Memorial Chorten, the National Library, the National Painting School and Changangkha Temple. Browse the striking collection of intricate textiles at the National Textile Museum and visit the Folk Museum. You may also be able to visit the weekly market. Overnight in Thimphu.

  8. Day 08 Drive to Paro and sightseeing

    We take you to visit Paro Rinpung Dzong and the National Museum then  visit Drukgyel Dzong (‘fortress of victory’), and the sacred Kyichu Lhakhang (temple).

  9. Day 09 Departure From Bhutan
